October 29, 2006 - On an reasonably warm
late October Sunday afternoon, ~A~ and I visited Chadz in downtown Livingston, Montana
to drink some coffee and play chess. My friend does have a real name, but
she loves going by the term "~A~" when referred to on the web. ;) |
 |
Now Chadz is a really cozy cafe
with quite an ambiance. It is filled with "retro" furniture and couches,
colorful knick-knack decorations and framed art on the walls. Chadz
also offers WI-FI and has one computer in the back for Internet access.
If I lived in this windy and mountainous town of Livingston, Montana,
I think I would be hanging out at Chadz frequently! :p) |

While ~A~ was ordering her drink, the young
man behind the counter smiled for the camera! |

Here are a few "knick-knacks" in the shop!

Near the entrance, there is this particular spot that was
once part of the old storefront for the building. It has now been converted to a sitting area
with a low-laying table where one either sits "Indian style" or
with one's legs completely horizontal. How cool is that?! |
 |
We played a few games of chess while sitting
outside the cafe. ~A~ was kind of sad after I soundly defeated her in the
first match. I forget what ~A~ ordered, but I drank a 16-ounce pumpkin spice latte. |
